Time to Sleep

Ok Praying People.... I need you! There are so many prayer warriors in my life and I am so thankful. I need you to pray that I can SLEEP. I sleep so well on the weekends, but last night, Sunday night, I slept horribly. If I even slept. My brain won't turn off from worrying, thinking, analyzing, etc. etc. I am determined to conquer this with lots of prayer and postitive thinking. I WILL sleep well tonight! I am healthy, happy, and I WILL sleep! Psalm 127 says the Lord will give his beloved sleep. How precious! Thank you Lord for those promises. Praying People, please pray that my brain will stay "off," even if I wake up in the night. And if you have any helpful words of wisdom or advice, they would be much appreciated.

Your last post was about noise and now this one on sleep. Sheesh. So. Your life is noisy which causes your brain to constantly think about the noise that goes on.

Tonight I will definitely pray that the Lord gives you REST.

Try laying in bed and TRY to just take your mind off of work, people, "to do lists," etc. Think about the Lord and about the scripture verse in Psalm that says the Lord will give you sleep. Recite it over and over in your sleep and just talk to the Lord. Let that be the only thing you do. Also, maybe lay on your belly (or your most comfy bedtime position) and get all warm and cozy in the covers... then talk to the Lord and ask Him to give you the rest you need.

Love you and i'll be praying for you tonight!

P.S. - while we're on sleep... let's pray that God gives Felicity sleep too! hehehe

Now you know that I am a sleep expert...take your Rozerem and then start getting ready for bed. Take a nice warm bath while thinking of all the things you need to, get that out now. Put on your jammies, brush your teeth, etc. Climb in the bed maybe put in some ear plugs and an eye mask. No lights, no TV. Are you exercising too late? Too much caffeine? Are you napping (if you do, stop) Are you eating enough? If that doesn't work, do the same thing and take 2 Rozerem tomorrow. Make sure you are going to bed and getting up at the same time everyday, even weekends. Take your Rozerem everyday, not just when you need it. I know a week or two sounds forever, but if you change your habits a little and take your Rozerem, you should be much better within that time.

Thank you guys for your help and advice. The "girl doctor", who I consider my primary doctor, today said that it sounds like it is stress from not liking my job that is waking me up at night. Since I can go to sleep, I just don't usually stay asleep.... So it's all WVLT's fault.
Gina, will Rozerem make me STAY asleep? I took a shower the other night before I went to bed and I slept so great all night. We shall see.
